The journey to true love
Dark nights bring illuminations
Crooked roads clear the vision
The thoughts hidden in the darkness
The feelings unexpressed
The challenges of life
The secret tears
The fainting heart

(more…)Treat me like a patient
Just don’t keep me waiting
I know I’ve got some patience
But this is an emergency
And it needs urgent attention
But you can’t know what I want
If you don’t know who I am
Like, how do you know where I’m going
If you don’t know what’s driving me
My life is a journey
The destination, time unfolding
I know the Way am following
The speed the pain is slowing
You can follow me on
While I try to figure things out
Or you can wait and observe
Till it’s all figured out
But just don’t keep me waiting
For I’m a patient
And time is of essence.
I admire you
Like you make me want to
Pop the question
But a corn that
Pops out of the oven too early
Is of no use to anyone,
And that’s deep wisdom.
“Sweet friendships refresh the soul and awaken our hearts with joy, for good friends are like the anointing oil that yields the fragrant incense of God’s presence.”… Read more “To My Quarantined Love”
I may not be able to change the world
Or everyone in it
But I can change my dressings
And maybe, my address
.
I will need your voice on bedside
To bring me hope and courage
That even if I lost all
I gain you
.
And if life is brief as we were told,
Mine will be best
Summarized in you
I need you!
They say time is running out
But with you I gain time
Oh how my soul wait to see this day
I will patiently wait to behold
The beauty and splendor of my Queen.
A thousand hours flashes like lightening
As God’s breathe sends down the ice
With sixty-one thousand hours of service
Yet not remembered like a wounded vet
But the joy ahead of me
Energizes me to endure the pains
Of a freezing seat by coffee I never tasted
And though the wait felt like waste
God kept me busy with His Work
I am confident within me that
God has reserved her for me
But I still haven’t figured out
The Reservation Code.
